Center for Commercial Market Hospital Pricing Strategies
The Center for Commercial Market Hospital Pricing Strategies, a project of the Commonwealth Fund and Bailit Health, provides states with expertise and support to design and implement strategies to address high hospital prices and the affordability problems they create. The Center includes the State Hub for Hospital Pricing Strategies, which provides information on a menu of hospital pricing strategies and related design considerations, a resource library, modeling and data tools, communications resources, and virtual learning opportunities.
The Center further includes the Hospital Pricing Strategies Technical Assistance Program for selected state agencies actively designing or implementing hospital pricing strategies. Under the Technical Assistance Program, Bailit Health and other subject matter experts provide guidance to states on development of hospital pricing strategies, modeling of policy impacts, stakeholder engagement, communications, and program implementation.
